Motorbike competition regulations
Titan Hard Enduro - 25 - 26 September 2021

1. Rank of the event
Central competition of the Polish Hard Enduro Championship and Cup rank, held with the permission of the Polish Motor Association. The club and the riders / participants are obliged to follow the PMA regulations

2. Classes
The competition will be held in 4 categories - "PRO", "Expert", "Amateur", "Masters"
  • PRO - licensed riders - licence "A" Motocross, Enduro, Trial. Age, vehicle - any.
  • Expert - Licensed riders with "B" and "C" Motocross, Enduro and Trial licence.
  • Amateur - unlicensed riders (minimum age - 18 years old or 16 years old after fulfilling additional conditions). Any age and vehicle.
  • Masters - minimum age - 40 years old, licenses, any vehicle.
     
3. Applications
Applications will be accepted only via the website - www.enduroes.pl .
There is a limit of 300 participants. A contestant will be entered on the list of participants after recording the fact of paying the entry fee by bank transfer to the club's account.
The list of contestants will be closed 8 days before the competition or when the pool of free places is finished. A contestant who has not registered electronically before will not be allowed to take part in the competition.
The organizer has the right to grant additional starting places for special guests.


4. Entry fee
  • PLN 450 or EUR 100 (foreign participants) - the amount includes the cost of hiring a transponder, starting numbers, a T-shirt, two regeneration meals after the race.
  • Amateurs (participants) who do not have a PMA licence must conclude an accident insurance policy during the registration process - additional cost - PLN 30.

5. Starting numbers
The organizer will provide disposable starting numbers for the duration of the event, allocated on a first come, first served basis. Background is not required.


6. Admission to the competition
Participants must have a working enduro / cross bike (vehicle does not have to be registered, lighting not required). Tyres can be any.
Possession of a complete motorbike suit - (helmet with sport approval).
Possession of a current sports examination (licensed riders) or signing a statement of health allowing for practicing motorbike sport (applies to amateurs not associated - participants over 18 years old).
Amateur / unlicensed rider - UNDER 18 - the condition for admission to the competition is presentation of written consent of both parents or legal guardians to take part in the competition and having current medical examination from a sports doctor. The minimum age is 16 years.
It is obligatory for each amateur participant and foreign contestants to have an accident insurance policy concluded for the duration of the competition. It is possible to conclude a contract during the competition registration process.


7. Description of the competition
Two-day event for enduro/motocross motorbikes, dedicated to both licensed riders and non-licensed participants, the event is open to foreign riders.

25.09 Saturday Eliminations . Races will be held on a closed for traffic loop of about 18 kilometres on medium soft ground, route width 4 metres. The route includes sections of an extreme character - marked with a "PRO" plate - with detours along an easier route and a longer time - the diversions is marked with a "Amateur" plate. The contestant chooses a variant of this section regardless of the category which he/she competes in.

Starting straight - length - 150 meters, width - 80 meters.

Starting procedure, type "Charlotte" - at the starting line the riders stand in the line of the motorbike axis - behind the motorbike, holding the vehicle by the rear mudguard with both hands, at the starting signal they get on their motorbikes, start the engines and start the race. The timing line is located under the "Finish" banner.

The competition will start with a qualifying race - " Enduro Sprint " for one lap of the route.

Each participant will start in three enduro sprints.

For the sprint races contestants start in groups of 25 at intervals of 5 minutes - starting procedure like above. Contestants must arrive at the starting area 5 minutes before their start time.

Contestants will be divided into groups according to the order of assigned starting numbers. Starting numbers are assigned in order of registration, detailed time schedule is available on the website and on the notice boards in the competition area. A contestant who for some reason did not ride the full three enduro sprints retains the right to participate in the final.

After completing the measurement lap, the contestant descends to Contestants' Parking "PADDOCK" zone, where he/she waits for his/her next qualifying race.

The result of the qualification race is the ONE shortest time for ONE lap of the course. All other laps in which the contestant achieved worse results will be treated as learning laps.

The qualification race will determine the order of starting positions in the grand final of the next day. The contestant who, for some reason, did not complete all the qualifying laps, retains the right to start in the grand final with the result of his fastest full ride. The rider who did not complete any elimination lap retains the right to start in the Grand Final, he has the last starting position in the category.

A contestant who arrives late to the starting area and thus misses the start of his group looses the right to start in the elimination round.


26.09 Sunday Final race of Cross Country character with common start . The race will be held on the same route as Saturday's prologue. To the final race contestants will start from four lines.

The first starting line - PRO category.

The second starting line - the Veteran category.

The third starting line - Expert category.

The fourth starting line - Amateur category.

The Organiser allows setting up more than one starting line for a given category, in the event of a large turnout of contestants in this category.

The time interval between starting lines is 30 seconds. Contestants take their places on the starting line in the order of their "enduro sprint" result - according to the scheme the first "enduro sprint" contestant takes the first place on the starting line in his category. Starting procedure shall be type "Charlotte". Time of the final race - 3 hours.

The final position is determined by the number of completed laps within 3 hours.

The results will be displayed on the scoreboard in the starting area and in the competition office after the races.

The decoration of the winners will take place after the finals in the area of the Competition Office. Prizes not collected during the decoration will be taken by the organiser.


8.Timekeeping
Electronic time measurement is compulsory; each participant will have a borrowed transponder. The time measurement line will be located at the finish line marked "FINISH".

IMPORTANT !!! - a refundable deposit of PLN 200 must be prepared for the transponder rental or a photo ID. The contestant is financially responsible for the loss / failure to return the transponder. Lost transponder cost – PLN 300.



9. Service zone

During the final race, refuelling and repairing of motorbikes will take place in the service area marked "SERVICE", located near the contestants' car park. Two mechanics per rider are allowed in the service zone - access upon presentation of an ID. Refuelling and repairs are carried out on the environmental mat, for lack of mat the contestant will be punished with a financial penalty of PLN 300.

In the service zone the rule of switched off engine applies - the riders turn off the engine at the entry line to the zone and start it after the service on the exit line from the service zone, in the service zone the motorbike is pushed by the rider's muscles only (without outside help). Breaking this rule means 5 minutes time penalty added to the time of the ride. Smoking and the use of open fire is prohibited in the service area.

The contestant who leaves the service area - shall enter traffic in a safe manner - giving way to contestants on the route.

During the final race, it is forbidden to ride a motorbike to the contestants' parking zone - PADDOCK. The rider who leaves the competition route during the race - riding the motorbike to the contestants' parking - Paddock is not allowed to return to the racing route. In case the rider needs to get to his parked car, he must leave the motorbike in the Service area and go to the parking on foot.



10. Flying Referee, route control.
There will be a "flying referee" moving along the route of the competition, taking care of safety and correctness of the participants on the route. (MARSHAL waistcoat).

Control points will be located on the outermost points of the route. Contestants will not stop at the route control points.



11. Entry to the racecourse - practise
Entry to the racecourse during the races is allowed only to the organizers and "MEDIA" teams. Entry of spectators to the racecourse is strictly forbidden.

Safe zones - available for spectators - are designated within the special stage marked "Super Enduro Course".

We recommend that riders walk/bike without an engine, to get to know the route in the hours before the competition.

Training is only allowed in the training area marked TRIAL AREA located near the contestants' car park / PADDOCK. It is forbidden to practice on the racecourse both on the day of the event and in the days preceding it.

Any riding of a motorbike outside the designated area of the starting field, the Trial Area and the competition route (during the races) - will result in disqualification. Riders violating this rule will be financially responsible for damages caused by such riding.



12. Briefing of contestants
Briefings will be held in the PADDOCK riders' parking area each day according to the schedule, riders must attend the briefing.


13. Ecology
During the competition, motorbikes must be on ecological mats, both in the Paddock / parking area and in the service area / SERVICE area. Refuelling, pouring into other containers shall take place over the ecological mat. The organiser shall provide containers for the collection of hazardous substances (fuel, oils) and other waste within the Paddock. Failure to comply with the requirements will result in a financial penalty of PLN 300 or disqualification if the financial penalty is not paid.


14. Procedure in case of accident.
In the event of an accident, resulting in an injury during the competition - the injured participant is obliged to use the assistance of medical services present at the competition and, if possible, inform the organizer of the incident.

In the event of providing assistance to an injured contestant on the route the procedure for cancellation of lost time or granted a chance to repeat the qualifying run will be applied to the rescuing contestant.



15. Disqualification of the contestant.
A rider may be disqualified for the following offences:

Riding a motorbike in the opposite direction to that established by the organiser.

Knowingly shortening the race route.

Unsportsmanlike conduct towards other contestants.

Disobeying the competition regulations and the instructions of the organizer.

Refuelling the motorbike during the final race - outside the service area.

Practice rides outside the designated areas.

Driver/motorcycle swap during elimination races and the final.



16. Photo Video Advertising.
During the competition only accredited reporters of the event are allowed on the route. Accreditations shall be issued by Anna Spirowska ( aniawolska@o2.pl tel 502305101). It is strictly forbidden to use flying equipment - DRONs except for accredited reporters. Participants can place sponsors' advertisements (banners, flags, advertising tents) only within the contestants' parking area - PADDOCK. Outside this area any unauthorised advertising is prohibited.
